The Pillar Award The Pillar Award is given by the Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce for being a pillar of the community.


Non-Profit of the Year Finalist -- Northwest Arkansas and statewide The Northwest Arkansas Business Journal twice chose CCOA as one of the best non-profit organizations in Northwest Arkansas in its “Business of the Year Awards.” Additionally, The Arkansas Business Journal chose CCOA as a finalist for best non-profit in the entire state. Both publications named CCOA as one of only five finalists. The Governor’s Family Friendly Employer Award was given to CCOA for having a family friendly organization.


Outstanding Educator of the Year
The National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC) named CCOA’s Director of Education, Mark Foster, its national “Outstanding Educator of the Year.” Sandy Joel, Marshallese Outreach Coordinator, has also won this national award for education work.  


Making the Difference, a national award given to one outstanding agency leader annually by the National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC), was given to CCOA's Executive Director, Mike Robards.
